Tri-Tech 3D have exhibited at a great range of exhibitions this year in which our team have had great fun displaying our latest models and releases to the public. The shows we exhibit at are an excellent way to view the latest technological trends within the 3D Print industry and to meet face to face with potential customers interested in 3D print. In this blog post, we look back at the shows we exhibited at in 2017…
January 2017 – The Autosport Engineering Show
Held at the NEC since 1991, Autosport Engineering is Europe’s largest annual preseason event that covers all areas of motorsport, both professional and grassroots. 2017’s exhibition featured over 600 exhibitors, ranging from specialist engineering companies to major manufacturers. The Tri-Tech 3D team had great fun and were delighted to talk to customers old and new about 3D printed jigs and fixtures, manufacturing tooling, low volume customized parts and rapid prototyping.
March 2017 – Southern Manufacturing and Electronics
The Southern Manufacturing show is the largest regional manufacturing technology, electronics and subcontractor exhibition in the UK. This year our team held a talk on 3D print and the exciting benefits it brings to manufacturing which was jam packed and very positively received by our audience.
May 2017- The Dental Technology Show
The DTS is one of our favourites as this is an exciting area of development for 3D printing. This year there were a variety of talks lead by some of the dental industries most iconic and respected speakers. With over 100 dental laboratory suppliers on the exhibition floor, it provided an excellent opportunity for our team to demonstrate what 3D printing can now do within the dental industry.
June 2017 – Made in the Midlands
The Made in the Midlands exhibition includes over 2,000 decision makers from the Midlands Engineering and Manufacturing supply chain and provides an exclusive opportunity to meet the region’s top manufacturing talent and to share in the manufacturing success story. Our team had a great time networking with fellow Midlands businesses and look forward to future opportunities that arise from the event.
September 2017 – TCT Show and Northern Manufacturing and Electronics
September was our team’s busiest month and it was all hands on deck to get everything prepped for the shows with half of the team at TCT and the other half at Northern manufacturing!
This year was the 22nd annual TCT show and as per usual, it consisted of a range of inspirational speakers, some exciting product launches and a variety of industry leading exhibitors. This year our stand was bigger and better than before and played host to our fantastic Dave competition featuring the puppets from last year’s Sainsbury’s advert. Our two lucky winners received their very own VR headsets. We’re already excited for next year’s show!
At the same time, the other half of our team were off to the Northern Manufacturing and Electronics show in Manchester for 2 days of show-casing our latest innovative projects and 3D Print technology. The event was highly successful and our talk on ‘3D print and the exciting benefits it brings to manufacturing’ was jam packed with industry professionals and curious people alike.
November 2017 – Advanced Engineering
The advanced engineering show is the UK’s largest annual gathering of advanced engineering professionals and connected top industry players from a variety of different backgrounds including R&D, Design, Rapid Prototyping and Procurement. Our team were able to network with a range of professionals with some interesting applications for 3D printing in which we’re excited to see what we can do together in the near future.
That’s all for our 2017 exhibitions! Keep an eye out on our news pages and social media to find out what shows we’re exhibiting at in 2018.
