Overview
1.2709 / M300 is a high-performance tool steel powder known for its excellent elongation and yield strength. It is ideal for producing tool inserts and advanced moulds with near-contour cooling, suitable for injection moulding and die casting. Components can be machined, hardened, welded, polished, coated or reworked mechanically even after heat treatment. Its combination of strength, rigidity and versatility makes it suitable for aerospace, automotive, prototyping, toolmaking, series production and other demanding industrial applications.
