Solidscape

Founded in 1994 Solidscape has established the largest 3D printing installed base with more than 4,000 high-precision 3D printers operating in over 80 countries for the Direct Manufacturing of solid objects designed in CAD.

The resulting 3D printed wax patterns are ideal for lost wax investment casting and mould making applications.

These patterns provides the industry's highest standards in surface finish, accuracy and material castability while eliminating the need for post-processing. Solidscape printers and advanced materials are used in the manufacturing of small parts and assemblies that span jewellery, consumer electronics, biomedical products, orthopaedics, dental prosthetics, orthodontic appliances, toys, video games, sporting goods and power generation applications. Solidscape systems are true office peripherals—easy to use with a desktop profile.

Studio From Inspiration to Finished Design more info

The Solidscape Studio 3D printer for jewellery brings the jeweller’s bench to the retail shop where users of any technical level can produce their own intricate wax patterns, ready for casting. The fully automated Solidscape Studio marries the passion of fine jewellery design with the power of high-precision 3D printing jewellery technology.

MAX² High Throughput Manufacturing more info
The high-precision Solidscape MAX² 3D printer manufactures wax patterns. MAX² supports higher throughput and delivers very significant production gains for precision designs in 3D printer jewellery, medical, and industrial manufacturing applications.

Pro Industry-leading Precision more info
The accuracy of the Solidscape PRO produces models of intricate designs with ultra-fine feature detail and a smooth surface finish that are ideal for wax masters, 3D printer jewellery applications, and more. Solidscape is the leader of 3D printer companies in the industry.  Solidscape designs its three dimensional printing machines with detail and clarity as a high priority.

3Z Lab Going Digital Simplified more info

Solidscape Model

Solidscape Model is the build material for use in the Solidscape Max2, PRO, and Studio printers by jewellers for 3D printing jewellery and other non-dental applications.

This increased durability enables designers to incorporate even more intricate details with thinner walls into their work to produce lighter weight finished products that can meet their pricing strategy. For customers looking for 3D printer companies with wax materials that are created specifically for their rapid prototyping machines, Solidscape is your first choice.

  •          100% castability with no material shrinkage

  •          “Crayon” for dust-free loading of precise amounts

  •          Bar code identification for better quality assurance

  •          Safe, non-toxic with no special waste disposal

  •          Organic compound with wax-like properties is jetted as micro-droplets to form an object

  •          Clean burnout during casting process with no residual ash or shrinkage

  •          Low melting point 221º – 239ºF (95º – 115ºC)

  •          Non-toxic; registered by TSC

Solidscape Support

Solidscape Support automatically generates a structure to protect the part during the build process with the Solidscape MAX2, PRO, and Studio printers for 3D printer jewellery and other non-dental applications. Solidscape is one of the few 3D printer manufacturers that help you save on labour by eliminating the need for CAD designers to configure support structures during the design of new pieces. Once the printing is completed, labour is saved again because the Solidscape Support material completely dissolves away in a liquid solution leaving a clean wax part without the need for manual refining.

This hands-free process can safely deliver the most delicately featured and intricate wax masters that are immediately ready for investment casting or mould making. All Solidscape 3D printers for sale are compatible with our printing materials and have the 3D printer reviews to support them.

  •          Hexagonal “crayon” for dust-free loading of pre-measured amounts

  •          Improved build performance

  •          Lower melting point

  •          Bar code identification for greater quality assurance

  •          Organic compound with wax-like properties is jetted as micro-droplets to form an object

  •         Clean burnout during casting process with no residual ash or shrinkage

  •         Low melting point 122º – 162ºF (50º – 72ºC)

  •         Non-toxic; registered by TSCA

Labcast

Labcast only used with the Solidscape Lab printer is exclusively for manufacturing of dental restorations. It is Solidscape's strongest dental wax material ever featuring 100% castability with no material shrinkage.

The crowns, copings and bridges produced with our 3Z LabCAST can be directly investment cast or pressed for the highest precision dental restorations.

  •          23% Stronger, more durable than plusCAST

  •          100% Castability with no material shrinkage

  •          “Crayon”  for dust-free loading of precise amounts

  •           Bar code identification for better quality assurance

  •           Safe, non-toxic – no special waste disposal

Labfill

Labfill, only used with the 3Z Lab printer, automatically generates a structure to protect the part during the build process of dental restorations.

This saves on labour by eliminating the need for CAD designers to configure support structures during the design of new pieces. Once the printing is completed, labour is saved again because the 3ZSupport material completely dissolves away in a liquid solution, leaving a clean wax part without the need for manual refining.

This hands-free process can safely deliver the most delicately featured and intricate wax masters that are immediately ready for investment casting or mould making.
